Lazy Day

Sometimes, there's a lot to think about and you just need to take a second and relax. Today, I decided to procrastinate all my responsibilities, which I'll regret later, but as Scarlett O'Hara said, "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow." Instead of doing all the homework that I have to get done, I enjoyed the comfort of some candles and my warm bed.

I sat down to do some reading, I had already read Paper Towns, but a little rereading never hurt anyone. I lit my Slatkin & Co. cranberry pear bellini candle and got reading.

Later, I decided that I would work on a drawing, I have been swamped lately and haven't worked on a drawing or basically anything art related in months. I got out my Prismacolor colored pencils and began recreating a picture that I took on a previous trip to Santorini, Greece. I also lit a tea candle and put it in a little bowl that I made in pottery class in September.

While I was drawing, I pulled up my Spotify playlist, and if you would like to check out what I was listening to, feel free to visit it by clicking here.

I also made a cup of chamomile tea to sip on and warm up my body a bit. A warm drink was definitely necessary, as it's been so cold this lately due to the snow.
