What I'm Thankful For

Sometimes we take things for granted that are actually huge parts of our lives, but on Thanksgiving, we're reminded of all the things that we're lucky to have, even the little things. Happy Thanksgiving! While you're eating your turkey and mashed potatoes, don't forget to count your blessings, because you are hashtag, blessed.

I'm thankful for...

One year of Sunny Rebecca.

I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to put myself out there and create things that I love, my blog specifically. This has been something that has become a big part of my life recently and I'm thankful that it's grown to become what it is today and that I've learned so much through it.

Family.

I was actually just talking to my friend about this the other day, about how your family will be with you forever. Yes, you may fight with your family all the time, but they're the people that will be there for you when no one else is. If you do something that upsets someone, friends have the choice to leave you, but family stays with you through thick or thin. I'm so thankful for my family for being so understanding and trusting that I'll make the right choices.

New friends.

Lately, I've been stepping out of my comfort zone a bit more and talking to new people. Since making friends is not always easy for me, I'm definitely thankful for the new friends that I've made this past year.

Old friends.

When you've had friends for a long time, you eventually start to take them for granted. The friends that have been with me for a while are the people that are always there for me and that I know I can count on. They'll always have my back, and I am soo grateful for that.

A safe home.

Sometimes I find myself disappointed that I don't live in a big bustling city with lots of things to see and do. But in my small town, I have safety and security and a decent amount of things to do. Safety is important, especially with recent events, and I'm lucky enough to live in a safe place.

The blogging community.

I feel like I'm so lucky to be a part of this community that is so supportive and full of creative minds! The blogging community has helped me grow as a blogger and meet new people.

What are you thankful for?
