Holiday Party

The holiday season is also a season of holiday parties. And while some holiday parties are casual, there are a ton of holiday parties that require you to do a bit of dressing up. While some people groan at the thought of having to dress up, I get excited about it. Anyways, whether you like to dress up or not, it's best to have a little something in your closet just in case you have to doll up all fancy for an upcoming holiday party.

I got this dress last year for a formal event and never really have much of a chance to wear it. However, I think that it would be perfect for holiday parties because of the silver scallops at the top of it. It's simple and not too flashy, some holiday dresses can be very flashy, and will look great in all those party pictures.

I paired the dress with these suede burgundy lace up flats from Steve Madden. Lately, I've been seeing lace up flats all over instagram and I just had to jump on the bandwagon. The subtle pop of color for the shoes dresses up the look, since let's be real, plain white is boring.

Dress: ASOS (Old) // Shoes; Steve Madden

Since the dress that I'm wearing is no longer in stock, (I got it last year), I've selected some holiday dresses that I just adore.

    1. Thanks, Kadasia! I just joined the 'laced pointed toe flats' train and as much as I love them, they can be a bit uncomfortable at times, but that also might just be because I'm still breaking them in.
